    Just write it down!

People always say, "Just write it down," when chasing their dreams and I never truley understood the importance of it until recently!

I, Jessie Renaud Becker began my swimwear career within the past year after graduating a Fashion Marketing and Design program at Aiu. I always had an unique eye for fashions, enjoyed ever changing trends, and loved to be original.  After overcoming some tragic obstacles and coming to the realization that life is too short, I made one move that changed my life from there on out. That day I set a few goals, wrote them down as follows, "I'm going to form my LLC," "I'm going to create my own, unique line of swimwear," and since that cool Feb, 2010 I never looked back!

All it took was a little motivation and determination on my end and with all the support of my friends and family I have come a long way in a little over a year.  "Ravish Sands Swimwear", a line of exclusive, limited swimwear was born into something bigger than I ever imagined! I've done fashion shows and charity events at Passions, Kitchen 305, Club Play, Marquis Hotel just to name a few. Teamed up with makeup artists, photographers, models, and more from all over, and recently completed my first wholesale catalog. Two years ago I would have never known where I would be today. I thought dreaming big was living in a false reality however dreaming big is what makes our lives worthwhile.

Asante Samuel's and Ravish Sands tear it up!

Not only do I get to do something I love I get to give back at the same time! This past saturday I teamed up with Randi Berger and Asante Samuel, number 22 from the Philadelphia Eagles with a Splash Extravaganza swimsuit fashion show at no better place then Club Play. It was a phenomenal event from 8pm till 11 filled with raffles, actions, fashions, stripper polls, drinks, and lots more. We were able to put together a smashing charity event for Asante's "Bring it Home" charity raising money for low income mothers!  Elite Model's rocked the runway in Technomarine watches, Ravish Sands swimwear, and lots of exclusive jewelry and other fun accessories. Some of the biggest sponsors, such as Miss Geico Racing Team and many others mingled and enjoyed a night full of entertainment for a good cause. It's events like these that keep me pushing forward and I myself hope to have my own charity some day!

Ravish Sands Swimwear Charity for Children with Aids

I believe good things happen to those who do good things. Well at least I believe it increases our odds. Part of life are our rocky bottom moments and mountain climbing obstacles but its those moments that make us as humans better people and gives value to our lives. Recently I teamed up with the 3CCampaign who organized a phanominal event to bring awareness and raise money for children with aids. Everything was glamourous...the venue, the make up, the hosts, the audience, the models, and the shows yet at the same time we were able to demonstrate the importance of awareness of aids. I felt privelegded to be part of their event...we kicked off an amazing swimwear event followed by several other amazing designers. Everyday people die from aids, sicknesses, accidents, cancers, and from pure old age. We never know when our moments will come and until my last breath I plan to make the very best of my life. I put my all to make this event a smashing event and if you care to see the outcome check out the YouTube video below! Give a little and expect nothing in return and your life to will be meaningful to someone!
